ABOUT PREGNANT AND POPPED
The Founder Story
Meet Kathy – Founder of Pregnant and Popped, Postpartum Doula & Village Builder
Kathy’s journey into motherhood back in 2017 lit a fire in her belly. After giving birth to her daughter in Bangkok and feeling first-hand the fog, the feels, and the fierce love of early motherhood, she knew there had to be a better way to support mums. Not just with practical tips, but with real, wraparound care and honest conversations.
So she trained up. Kathy became a certified Postpartum Doula and Infant Care Specialist – but more than that, she became the go-to support for mums who want expert help without the overwhelm. Think newborn care meets mothercraft, breastfeeding and bottle feeding guidance, emotional support, and practical rhythms that actually work for your family.
But one-on-one wasn't enough. In 2022, Kathy launched Pregnant and Popped, a platform designed to bring mums together and make expert support accessible to all – from pregnancy through the fourth trimester and beyond.
Whether it’s through live events, expert-led workshops, or the trusted VILLAGE WhatsApp group, her mission is clear: to make sure no mum ever feels like she has to Google motherhood alone.
Kathy’s passion, training, and lived experience now power a growing community of parents and professionals who believe that motherhood should feel supported, not solitary. She’s here to help you feel informed, empowered, and most of all – never alone.

Kathy’s journey into motherhood changed everything for her. After years in the corporate world, she found herself navigating the emotional highs and lows of new parenthood - and wondering why no one was talking about how hard it really is.
That experience lit a fire in her. She retrained, redefined her path, and created Pregnant and Popped to be the kind of support system she wished she had — expert-led, judgement-free, and rooted in real-life experiences.
Now, whether you’re preparing for birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or figuring out how to balance work and motherhood, Kathy’s here to remind you: you don’t have to do this alone. And you definitely shouldn’t have to Google motherhood.
